Suspending Fear

· The Capilano Suspension Bridge near Vancouver, B.C. ·

Just north of Vancouver, B.C. is a nature-lover’s dream. Evergreen forests are cut by rivers and just to the west are picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean. Often plagued by rainy days, when the sun shines on these parts, you could argue there is nowhere more beautiful in the world. It’s a hiker and camper’s dream.

If you want to experience all that this area has to offer but aren’t fully committed, the Capilano Suspension Bridge is perfect. Though it’s been updated, there’s been a suspension bridge crossing Capilano River since 1889. Today, the park allows you to explore treetops and cliffs from secure pathways allowing you to experience the nature of it all without committing to getting lost or dirty.
